Hội An, Vietnam
From having your dream wardrobe brought to life at one of the many tailors, strolling through the historical sites or taking a night time ride down the river of lights - you'll never have enough time to explore this beautiful city.

Hội An was such a pleasure to visit for so many reasons. Only a short motorbike ride from the big city of Da Nang, this quaint little town is packed with so much life. Listed as an official UNESCO World Heritage site Hội An is known as the "Yellow City," due to it's abundance of mustard-colored houses - where photographers like Jack have an absolute field day!
You'll also probably notice the romantic blend of Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese influences, especially at sunset when the Thu Bon River comes alive with candle-lit paper lanterns released by visitors for good luck.
Things to Do in Hội An:
Explore the Ancient Town: You definitely have to check out 16th-century Japanese Covered Bridge and assembly halls like Phuc Kien.
Release a Lantern: Okay okay, this one may not be the best for the environment and we opted not to buy a lantern ourselves because of this, but it's still worth hopping in a traditional wooden boat at night and floating past all the glowing flower lanterns on the water. You'll feel like you're in the movie Tangled!
Get Custom Tailored: Hoi An is world-famous for its tailors; you can have high-quality suits, dresses, or leather shoes handmade to your exact measurements in less than 24 hours. It's honestly incredible and we spent way to much money getting custom suits and shoes made.
Taste the Local Food: Madam Khanh's Bahn Mi, the most legendary Vietnamese sandwich. I still have dreams about it.
Cycle to the Countryside: Rent a bicycle to ride through the lush green rice paddies of Tra Que Vegetable Village or head to the white sands of An Bang Beach. You could even score a ride on a buffalo...
Try a Basket Boat: Take a trip to the nearby Cam Thanh Coconut Village to spin through the water in a traditional round bamboo basket boat. Be warned, those boats can get WILD.
